Kerem Akın was born on August 25, 1986, in Samsun, and lived in Ankara until he was nine years old. In 1995, he moved to Salzburg, Austria, with his family.

From a young age, he had a passion for music. At the age of 17, he started DJing in various nightclubs in Salzburg under the name “DJ Jackson” and quickly gained recognition. His first professional music work was a remix of the single “Touch It” by the famous Polish DJ Tomekk, whom he met in 2008. In 2015, he released his own single for the first time. Later, he continued his professional music career by establishing his own record label called “Tuğrem Müzik.” During his more than 15-year DJ career abroad, he performed alongside many artists and participated in numerous productions.

In 2019, he permanently returned to Turkey and made his acting debut in the TV series “Elimi Bırakma” in the same year. This led to his interest in acting, and in 2019, he began studying theater at the Cengiz Küçükayvaz Theater. In 2021, he completed his training at the Müjdat Gezen Art Center.

Later on, he participated in many projects such as “Yasak Elma,” “Şampiyon,” “Kırmızı Oda,” “Masumlar Apartmanı,” “Mucize Doktor,” “Evlilik Hakkında Her Şey,” “Kardeşlerim,” and “Baba.”

Kerem, who is passionate about both acting and music, is also a professional karate athlete.
