Kerem Akın was born on August 25, 1986, in Samsun, Turkey. After completing his primary education in Ankara, he moved with his family to Salzburg, Austria, in 1995. From a young age, Akın demonstrated a strong interest in music, which led him to embark on a career as a DJ at the age of 17. Within a short period, he established himself under the stage name “DJ Jackson” in Salzburg’s leading nightclubs, quickly gaining recognition in the music scene.
A significant turning point in his career came in 2008 when he met the internationally renowned Polish DJ Tomekk. Akın’s remix of Tomekk’s single “Touch It” marked his first professional music production. In 2015, Kerem Akın released his first solo single and founded the record label “Tuğrem Müzik,” further solidifying his presence in the music industry. Throughout his over 15-year DJ career abroad, he performed alongside numerous well-known artists and contributed to various music productions.
In 2019, Kerem Akın returned to Turkey permanently and discovered a new artistic field. That same year, he made his acting debut in the television series “Elimi Bırakma,” which ignited his passion for acting. To further develop his skills in this area, he began his acting training at the Cengiz Küçükayvaz Theater in 2019 and completed it in 2021 at the Müjdat Gezen Art Center, specializing in Theater and On-Camera Acting.
Kerem Akın quickly adapted to his acting career and took on roles in notable projects within a short time. He has appeared in numerous successful productions such as “Yasak Elma,” “Şampiyon,” “Mucize Doktor,” “Evlilik Hakkında Her Şey,” “Kardeşlerim,” “Baba,” and “Arka Sokaklar.”
In addition to his passion for music and acting, Akın is also a professional karateka. Kerem Akın, who places both art and sports at the center of his life, continues to advance his career with discipline and versatility.
